Palate Surgery

Here are a few pictures surrounding Josie's palate surgery from last week.  She seems to be doing OK so far and I'm hopeful that things continue to go alright in the coming weeks.

Thanksgiving Program

We went to Will's (4th from the right) Thanksgiving program at his daycare a few weeks back.  I say program, but the 3 songs lasted about 3 minutes total and then we headed to the gym for pizza.  It was cute nonetheless and I overheard Will say that it was "the best day ever!"

Abby and 4 friends spent the night downtown to celebrate Abby's 16th birthday.  The night went surprisingly smooth and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Cornbread

Josie turns 1 in about a month and still doesn't have any teeth in sight.  Today I experimented by giving her cornbread and it was a big hit.  (And the crumbs all over the floor afterward were a big hit for the dogs too)

Abby's first day of school was August 1st.  I'm a little behind on the blog.  I blame Josie.

Happy Birthday Will!

Will turns 5 today and to say that I didn't tear up this morning would be a lie.  I feel sad that he's made it to 5 already.  I'm not ready for him to leave the little boy stage behind.

Soaked

We made the trip up to an amusement park called Michigan's Adventure for our last day away.  The picture above is immediately following a water ride in which both Will and Abby got soaked.  This was Will's first trip to an amusement park and it turned out to be a great day for all of us and excellent way to end our trip.

Josie -7 Months

Often someone will have left our camera in video mode and I'll accidentally take a video when I really want a picture.  This 3 second accidental video was too cute to delete.

Big Kid Will

We recently upgraded Will to a big kid bike.  It was a little sad, but exciting at the same time.  Judging from how well Will rode it right away, it was a little overdue.  

Last Saturday was Will's first baseball game.  It's hard to believe that he's old enough to be on a team, but it was pretty cute to watch him in action.  I'm looking forward to watching him gain confidence as the season progresses.

I Just Wanted One Good One

Will, Josie, and I were killing time waiting on J. and Abby to finish getting ready for church on Saturday night. I thought it would be a perfect time to take a quick picture, but it became more difficult than expected as Will refused to sit still and Josie became easily distracted. Here are a few that weren't a complete blur from Will moving around.
