He Always has Something to Say

Tonight Will came into the kitchen with our Colts foam finger on his foot and said, "Done with homework Mom?" I said "Yep." To this he replied, "Watch with me Mom?" (Referring to "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" that was on in the bonus room) I said sure. Will then responded by running into the bonus room and yelling, " Yeah!!! Go Colts!" Interesting. Maybe since he refuses to take off his Colts hat, its starting to control his thoughts.

Will has worn a Colts hat almost constant for the last 2-3 weeks. I bought him a new youth sized hat last week because he outgrew his toddler one. Most kids outgrow their toddler hats at the age of 2 1/2....right? Horner heads...sigh. He was such a normal size at birth too. I'm not sure what happened.

Gearing Up

This past weekend we took Will to see his first movie at the theater. All of us are eager to see the 3rd Toy Story movie this June and so I wanted a trial run first to see how he would do. Will did really well. I was only distracted by the fact that he wasn't heavy enough to hold the seat down, he ate a lot of popcorn, and the fact that J. slept through half of the movie. Since that went so well, and the fact that Will insists on wearing one of his three pairs of Toy Story pajamas each night, we're more than ready for Toy Story 3 to come out.

Abby update: Abby didn't make the basketball team this year. It was the first year that she had the opportunity to get cut, so the pressure was a lot higher and its hard to know what to expect. This past week she was asked to be a manager for the team, which she is really excited about. She will get to learn bookkeeping and will be able to travel with the team to the games. I think she'll enjoy it and be able to get a better idea on the skills needed to try out again next year.
